Terms of service
The agreement between you and Elektriker Direkt AB when you use the app. Last updated 1 August 2026.
Template notice: this is a working draft. Have it reviewed against Swedish consumer law, in particular distansavtalslagen and konsumenttjänstlagen, before launch.
1. What the service is
Elektriker Direkt connects you with an independent, qualified electrical specialist for a remote video consultation. The specialist gives guidance, troubleshooting help and a recommendation on what to do next.
2. What the service is not
A remote consultation does not replace a certified electrician working on site, does not constitute a formal inspection or certificate, and is never a substitute for the emergency services. Where work legally requires certification or physical presence, the specialist will tell you and end the consultation. In an emergency, call 112.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Sign in with BankID or with an email address and password. Keep your credentials to yourself, as you are responsible for activity on your account. We may deactivate accounts that breach these terms or misuse the service.
4. Price and payment
A video consultation costs 250 kr including VAT. There is no call-out fee, no hourly billing and no subscription. Payment is taken through Swish, card, Google Pay or Apple Pay when you book, and you are charged once the specialist connects.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel from the queue before the call starts and you are refunded in full.
- If the specialist does not join, or a technical failure prevents the call, the refund is automatic.
- If you do not join after being called, the consultation may be recorded as missed and is not automatically refunded.
- Because the service is performed immediately with your consent, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once the consultation has been completed.
- Anything else: contact support and we will review it individually.
6. Reopening a case
If the original problem remains unresolved you may request that the consultation be reopened within 14 days, at no extra cost. Reopening is available once per consultation, must relate to the original issue, and is not available where a full refund has already been made.
7. Your responsibilities
- Describe the problem accurately and honestly.
- Never carry out work you are not competent or legally permitted to carry out.
- Follow safety instructions given during the consultation, including instructions to stop.
- Isolate the supply before inspecting anything, where it is safe to do so.
8. Liability
Guidance is given on the basis of what the specialist can observe over video and what you describe. We are not liable for loss arising from work you carry out yourself, from information you provide incorrectly, or from a failure to follow a referral to an on-site electrician. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law.
9. Specialists
Specialists are independent professionals approved by us following review of identity, qualifications and experience. Additional terms apply to specialist accounts and are provided during approval.
10. Complaints and disputes
Contact hej@elektrikerdirekt.se first, as most things are resolved quickly. If we cannot agree, you may refer the matter to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). These terms are governed by Swedish law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.
